We loved our stay in the Penthouse at Base Camp! Half of our group hit the slopes, and the other half were able to sit on the balcony & cheer everyone on as they came down the mountain. The views were amazing & the house itself was so comfortable with room for all 8 of us! The kitchen was well equipped & so many games available to play. Don’t forget to bring your fan & sound machine, as the night time snow cats were loud, but we came prepared. Can’t wait to come back next year!

We had a great time! Perfect for our kids first time skiing. One thing is the parking is not ideal, they want you to park 2 miles down the road, if you have more than one car. But over all I would stay here again!

Bright and spacious, this condo was the ideal place for our two families. The kids loved the loft area, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our group of 9. We also appreciated the extra towels that were provided for pool/hot tub use. The owner was responsive and helpful with questions during our stay. We'd love to return next year!

Love the View of the slopes!! Perfect location and great set up for family with teenagers. They can all come and go as they please. And you can even check up on them from the deck. It was so close, we were actually able to get their attention in the lift line from the deck. Will definitely stay here again next year if it is available.

You can’t beat the location. Less than 1 minute from your front door to the lift - and that’s walking with your snowboard attached. Plenty of room for 10 - there’s also a sleeper sofa (would fit 1) in the back bedroom, and you could easily put an air mattress in the living room. We brought a griddle and we’re glad we did for extra cooking space.

This is our second time to stay in the penthouse. Just like the first time, it was a perfect place to stay. We had a 6 month old with us along with 3 couples and two teenagers and there was plenty of room. Walk out to the lift was so convenient, and you walk out of the elevator and the penthouse was right in front of you. Communication with the owner was so easy and he immediately responded to any questions. The Lord willing, I hope we stay here next year!

Great location , great check-in. Loved the deck. Plenty of games supplied. Plenty of plates and utensils. All in our party enjoyed the location most of all. Now a few cons: parking for one car when having 3 not so good. Maybe let us park in ski area at least. BBQ grill on deck would have been nice. No thermostat in main bedroom so little cool a couple nights. Overall , I would stay there again!

First morning of our stay, we found out the coffee maker was malfunctioning. The problem was reported to the management team. A new coffee maker was delivered by that afternoon. Fireplace was not working the second day. Maintenance crew showed up at the door 30 minutes later and fixed the issue. Location is true ski in/out. View from the balcony is excellent. Only thing disappointing is that less than 1/4 of the trials were open due to lack of snow.

Dear VRBO by Evolve, Parking is an issue at Base Camp Lodge. Your rental condos at Base Camp do not talk about parking issues and they should. One car in the garage, one car on the outside premise is allowed. Other parking over night is allow next door at the pool area. I must have gotten 3 different parking explanations, worried to death that after renting a unit to accommodate 10 people, someone would get a $250 fine. Ten people do not all arrive in one car. Ten people do not rent a van to bring them from out of state to the unit. We had 3 cars and the online hostess said over flow parking was 1.8 miles away. If I had another choice I would have cancelled this reservation due to the parking chaos. The unit is excellent and would rent it again now that I know how the parking works. You should provide better information for guest at Base Camp Lodge. Sincerely, Jannett

Plenty of space for family. Since they can only come down in one place, it’s nice we could see grandkids while sitting on the deck. Property was clean with good amenities. Owner left very good instructions so it was Easy access to ski locker, slope, and garage. Only issue was slow drain in master shower. We stayed here because we a looking to buy a family/retirement home. On site staff not that friendly and prefer to ignore you instead of answering a simple question. So will look else where to buy, but would not hesitate to enjoy this property again for a few days

The location and the recent snow made this just perfect. Everyone had a bed! The equipped kitchen made meal preparation easy, we even prepared a full Turkey dinner! The View of the slopes from the balcony was so wonderful. Easy access for the kids to go out and play, walking distance to hills for sledding. Short drive to the lakes, grocery store and to neighboring towns. Christmas tree set the holiday spirit in motion. Unfortunately the parking garage only allowed for one car and our group had 2, the fireplace gas line was not turned on and the main bathroom did not lock. Overall it was a great place to stay!
