Comfy stay in Grand Junction

Nicely remodeled older home in a quiet neighborhood in Grand Junction. Roomy, comfortable (especially the beds and living room furniture) and well equipped. Beautiful kitchen with just about anything you might need, washer and dryer in the basement, covered carport kept the car dry. An excellent value, highly recommended!

The start of our western vacation

The property was very comfortable, clean and neat. The bathroom is a bit out of date compared to the updated kitchen which is beautiful. And the backyard is a lovely sanctuary!

Charming and perfect

Exactly how it was described. So charming and loved the decor! Even provided a gift basket with coffee, hiking map and other goodies. Lots of towels and blankets which I loved. I feel like some VRBOs don’t leave blankets for variant temperatures. Back yard was nice! Safe neighborhood. Our favorite part was the porch. Simply perfect!

The Butterfly House ... Grown & Flown

My husband and I stayed at the house this past week while we checked our daughter into the dorm at CMU. The house was so convenient to campus and perfect for the two of us. Having only one bathroom might have been a problem had there been more people staying there. The place was clean, comfortable, the neighborhood quiet, and so handy to downtown, the baseball stadium, and the campus. We will definitely stay here again during our daughter's 4 years at CMU.

Amazing property

The Butterfly house is in a great location just minutes from downtown and CMU and steps to Lincoln Park with a pool, park, and pickleball courts. The house is clean, well stocked, and beautifully maintained. We will definitely return!! Thank you

The house was exactly as described. I was visiting my son and his family who live in Grand Junction. I was the only one who stayed there, but having the space for them to hang out in was great. I have 3 grandkids and the backyard was a special feature. Plenty of room to play board games too.

Third Time's A Charm

I believe this is the third time we have stayed at this property, visiting our daughter who is a CMU student. We love this little house! It is clean, the beds & bedding are comfortable, the decor is bright & welcoming, the kitchen is well stocked for those who plan to cook while visiting, and the location is convenient to downtown, the stadium, campus, etc. It is cozy with only two bedrooms and one bathroom, but perfect for a couple or small family. I'm sure we will stay here again.

Made for relaxing

I found this property because I was looking for a place that had sufficient space for my sewing machines and a flat space for cutting. I was not disappointed. We were able to play some golf until the weather put an early stop to it! Quiet surroundings and we could walk to the CMU stadium for ball games if we wanted.

Excellent VRBO!

We stayed at the Butterfly Cottage Saturday thru Tuesday in August 2024. It is an older house that has been updated and is very comfortable and welcoming. The neighborhood feels like one you would want to live in and the house is part of the charm. The house was very clean, well stocked, charming. Very pleasant back yard and closed in front porch that we spent a good deal of time in. We had a hard time figuring out the tv but finally got what we wanted. Next time we travel from Denver to GJ, this is definitely where we will hope to stay. A definite keeper!

Lovely Home in Downtown Grand Junction

We had a great stay at the Butterfly house. The house is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed the large kitchen. Being close to downtown and Lincoln Park made it wonderful for walking.

Butterfly House

Butterfly house was the perfect spot for our stay. We were able to walk to and from CMU campus daily for the event we were in town for. The house is adorable as seen in the pictures! It was spotless and comfortable. The front porch and living room spaces were so great for our group and we loved the bright kitchen! Everything was so well laid out and such cute decor. The gift basket with grocery bags were nice touches as well as the starter supplies and trail maps etc. Grand Junction and surrounding areas have so much to do and see. Great house, easy access and end of stay routine instructions! We would definitely recommend!

Perfect for college visit!

We were visiting for Homecoming/Parent's weekend at Mesa and having our high schooler do a college visit. Walking distance for the football game and to everything. Perfect location and great communication with Kristy! Lovely home and so much nicer than cramming into a hotel room. Will definitely be back!
