Communication from the owners was excellent, and the cabin was awesome. The kids loved the onsite fishing pond and the hot tub. Location and proximity to RMNP was great for all of our day trips, would defiantly stay here again!
There was space to spend time together and with five bedroom, options for quiet time for the kids. Also the fishing pond was a big hit. The close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake was great.
We so enjoyed our stay at this cabin!! Beautifully appointed, with a fully stocked kitchen, and perfect yard for kids, and dogs! The kids loved the fish pond, and “game garage”, which is also well stocked.Proximity to town and trails was wonderful, and communication with the host was next level! This cabin checked every box!!
We had a big group with us and really enjoyed the house and location. The kids in our family were able to fish in the pond, we had several fires, cooked a lot in the kitchen, spent time in the hot tub and saw a lot of wildlife on the property. Location is great for the national park and also going into grand lake. The hosts were super responsive and accommodating. We would most definitely stay here again!
House was clean and well furnished. Lots of space for our party of 6. Property is well maintained. Kitchen has lots of cookware and extra items that make it feel like home. Super close to RMNP. Bedrooms were great with quality mattresses and bedding. We will definitely stay again.
What a gem we found here! Beautiful place, excellent amenities, great location! We had a family wedding and this was a perfect place for us! Super hosts! Very good communication and personal thoughtfulness. The grandkids loved the fishing!! Can’t say enough about this place!!
We had a wonderful long weekend getaway at this SPACIOUS, RUSTIC cabin. We had a large family group of 9. There were accommodations not only for sleeping and meals in , but fun stuff ( fishing in the private pond, hot tub, ping pong, poker chips for the adults and dress up outfits , doll house and toys ) to entertain the kids. This is a unique property that offers all the comforts of home with a mountain get away experience. We also had the pleasure of seeing MOOSE from our cabin windows. We’re already planning our return visit!
My extended family had a wonder stay in the cabin. Kids and adults spent hours around the pond trying our best to catch the trout. We enjoyed the hot tub after mountain bike rides and hikes in RMNP. We saw moose and deer in the yard. Putnam was extremely helpful with any questions we had. The accommodations were great and we didn't want to leave. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone interesting in traveling to the Grand Lake area.
If I could give more stars, I would. Hosts were helpful, kind and thoughtful. Made everything so easy. Whether you’ve been to Grand Lake / RMNP before or not, just know that the location is unbeatable. Beyond that the house accommodated my family (8 adults + 2 kids) so easily. We loved the main floor where we could all gather, eat and play games. Kids loved the fishing pond. Can’t say enough good things about this place and especially the hosts. Thank you for making our trip so perfect.
Great property just minutes outside of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park
Loved the property. Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen all very nicely furnished and well equipped, yet provided a rustic Colorado log cabin look in the large main living room. Fenced yard provided a great area for our lab to run/play and burn off energy. Large living room wood burning fireplace worked great with plenty of wood and kindling to get a nice warm fire going and to roast marshmallows for s'mores. Some family members had to do a bit of work during our visit and the home provided several great places to work undisturbed along with excellent internet connectivity. Host was very helpful and provided a great welcome package for us, Had everything we needed.
Highly recommend this for family, or mixed family / friend get away!
Very clean rustic cabin in a good location. 12 of us were comfortable with plenty of room and short drive distances from things to do. The owner was great answering questions quickly. We’d definitely rent from them again.
I have to put something else out here though. We misplaced an SD card when leaving. I am going to put an email address on here. It’s a long shot but I’ll gladly give a reward for someone returning the card. If you happen to find it please reach out to rezinSDcard@icloud.com.
We had a large family group coming from both coasts for the first time and this house was perfect! The kitchen and outdoor grill had everything we needed to make our meals and the huge dining room table accommodated us all. Everyone was very comfortable with the sleeping arrangements having their own rooms and the beds were great. The fenced in yard gave our 2 pups lots of space to play without constant attention and the garage game tables provided extra play for the rest of us. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking.
There are little touches of convenience and comfort throughout this house. Grand Lake was a wonderful place to gather given its location and outdoor activities and Putnam and Kelly’s house was the icing on the cake. We highly recommend staying here for your group’s getaway and vacations. We would definitely come back!
Beautiful place with a unique character. This home is a mix of the old west and new comfort and convenience. There were so many amenities that were perfect for our group of adults and toddlers and a dog! Beautiful furnishings, well stocked kitchen, private pond, hot tub, fire pit and a large garage that was stocked with ping pong, games and some kids toys. The beds and bedding and furniture were great and it’s minutes from Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. So much to do on this quieter side of the park. If you want to be close to things but not stuck in traffic looking for a parking spot this is it! Very quiet and private location-rarely heard any neighbors but did see moose and deer right outside our doors! Owner is very communicative and seems like a wonderful person. Highly recommended!
Our second time staying here and this visit was just as awesome as the first time. House is super clean and spacious. Kitchen is well stocked. Yard is clean and fenced. Beautiful views and an amazing fireplace. Host is super responsive and helpful. 5 min drive to RMNP entrance is a huge bonus. We love this property.
The cabin was very cute and well equipped. We felt we had everything we needed during our stay! The hosts were amazing and very responsive and the proximity to town, hiking, the lake etc while still feeling “rural” was perfect for us. The golf course a mile away had a free sledding hill and the host provided sleds and tubes! Our family had an amazing trip and would recommend this cabin to anyone!
This cabin was absolutely magical. The attention to detail and obvious joy in hosting made me and my guests feel like royalty. I hope to return if i ever get to Grand Lake again, having made some excellent memories while i was there!
