We stayed for the 3 lakes ice fishing derby. It was great to be able to snowmobile from the cabin to the lake. Limited parking in the snow though. Cabin is a bit old and dirty looking but that was perfect for us and all our fishing gear.

Our entire experience was wonderful from reservation to checkout! Great location, comfortable, quiet, fenced in - perfect for a couple of girls and their dogs. We’ll definitely be back!

The cabin was in a very convenient location to nearby Granby and Grand Lake. We planned to spend much time outdoors and therefore only were looking for a place to sleep, cook and shower. I'm glad that's all we really needed as this cabin was in dire need of some TLC. Couch was filthy, extension cords were strewn about everywhere (including under the sink, for the garbage disposal), screen door was broken, the fire pit was full of debris and there was just a general lack of maintenance and upkeep.

Some cosmetic issues (screen door) and wasps behind firepit. We didn't stay long during the day for it to be an issue though. Location isn't ideal being so close to the highway and the map directions were wrong. However, the rooms were great, clean, and pet friendly was a big plus! Loft area is great for the kiddos to sleep.

Overall, the cabin was cozy despite a few issues such as: The floor is not level. That took some getting used to. The wood stove was not cleaned out but we didn’t have to use it. And there was no wood. The kitchen sink leaked. I was able to fix one side of the sink but the compression fitting for the pipe on the other side was stripped. The bottom portion of the screen door was missing. Still, we had a good time.

Nice cabin and well stocked. Quite clean. Comfortable beds. A few minor issues such as a sticky bedroom door and the ceiling in the loft was so low that I was glad we didn’t need to use it. Location was convenient but quite a bit of traffic noise. Would consider staying there again. Confusing checkout information as what was posted in the cabin did not match online instructions.

Cute little cabin in Grand Lake. You’ll love it here. The place is simple and cozy. There’s a coffee maker, washer, dryer, crock pot & Cute little patio. The beds and linens were super comfy. I stayed with my mom and we had our own little private spaces to retreat to at night or while waking in the early morning. We both lingered in the beds in the morning.. our favorite thing about the place. We didn’t use the loft at all but it would work if you’re young or a yogi. The nearby town is quaint with little shops and restaurants lining the Main St. and there are some simple little walking trails nearby that trail around the lake. These are especially nice if you’re unable to do intense trails. Old little cabin if you’re bougie…mountain life might not be for you. I read online that the place has some foundation issues and there’s a couple of spiders, but gee, you’re getting out of the city to relax, I would think. Anyway, we loved it. We would stay again.

We stayed four nights at this quaint little place and it was perfect! My family rented a larger cabin in the Shores neighborhood and my partner and I wanted privacy, but to still be close enough to spend the days with them. A small fenced area with a fire pit (unfortunately it was too wet the week we visited to get a fire started), outdoor seating, and even a little creek running behind the cabin with makeshift bridges to cross all along the stream. Cute small kitchen with pots and pans if you want to cook, but also close to many restaurants whether in Grand Lake just up the road or south ~15 minutes to Granby. We did get a little confused trying to find the place but that was after an 11 hour drive so we were worn out. Water pressure was nice (other than the water dispenser in the fridge, but it was the same at the cabin my family stayed at top), pretty good shower head, plenty of towels. We even found extra blankets in the ottoman in the living room. It was just two of us but there was definitely room for way more. Would definitely come back and stay!

Lets start with the good, location is convenient… Now the bad, stay was in late February, we had to shovel the patio to open the perimeter door all the way, and to access the fire pit. The roof had about 2” of snow and ice, hanging half a foot over the edge. Snow melt was not working. One bed had mouse droppings on the comforter. Mouse droppings were found around the kitchen as well. We ended up washing all the bedding before sleeping in it. Spatulas had old dried food/grease on them. Utensils were dirty. Ended up washing anything we needed to use beforehand. Wood fireplace needed to be cleaned out, we cleaned out 2, 5 gallon buckets of ash from the pit. Couch appeared okay until we removed the mountain of decorative pillows to reveal a variety of stains. Now the unsafe, extension cords galore. Obviously this is an older cabin, possibly an addition given the wildly uneven foundation. However the amount of appliances and lighting that were running off extension cord was insane and extremely unsafe. Spent a good amount of time cleaning a place that should have already been clean. Overall disappointed in the place.

To start, the address given when put into Google is 5 miles away from actual location. When you preview and plan your stay, you end up nowhere near said location. When contacting host, they were rude from the beginning. Gave me directions to actual location and kept saying "it looks exactly like the picture" before arriving knowing it looks nothing like the picture. Exterior door broken, interior door not closing due to foundation shift. Floors unlevel due to caving in. Main support beam on the back of the lean to, completely snapped making it unsafe for children. Clutter and extra construction debris and junk in back of house. In the kitchen there was plenty of utensils for cooking, which was great. However all the spices they offer are 3 to over 5 years expired. This place needs to be condemned and would be if a building inspector sees it. Weeds over 2 feet tall as the landscaping has not been touched yet this year. Overall disaster. If this is the places that Vrbo offers, you will never see me spend money on it again. Never been this disappointed over a place in my life and I travel for a living. I'm looking for a follow up reply as I have already filed a more detailed complaint via Evolve. I have pictures of some of the complaints listed if you need proof.
