I like that the room i booked had an oven! The staff is easy to get ahold of if you need them. The GM is very hands on and readily available if needed. Best location if you are looking to get some rest after shopping or eating all day lol.

Great location, close to many restaurants and shopping. Also quite easy to get on local highways pretty quickly. Did not eat breakfast at all cause it’s your typical hotel breakfast with fake eggs. Rooms definitely show their age.

Thank you. This hotel gave me the worst experience ever. I had my business expenses stolen from my laptop bag. I checked out early in the morning with a colleague. I asked about a refund because I was checking out three days early, but they said no, so I started moving on to my next schedule. About an hour later, I realized I'd left my laptop bag behind, so I went back to get it. Until then, I was incredibly grateful. When I received my bag back and checked its contents, I discovered the envelope containing the company travel expenses was missing. I went back to ask the staff, but the staff member who helped me check out and kept my bag repeatedly denied knowing anything. I couldn't understand how the money could have gone missing after only two hours. I'm certain the hotel staff searched my bag. The zipper wasn't where I usually put it. I stayed at the hotel for over two weeks and was satisfied, but ultimately, I was deeply shocked by the worst experience I've ever had, and the lack of ethics and integrity among American hotel staff. How can a customer search a bag they accidentally left behind? I wanted to report it to the police, but my next appointment was so tight that I didn't have time to report it or complain about losing my money. I was a foreigner, my next appointment was urgent, and I was so angry. I'll never forget the face of the employee who kept repeating, "I don't know."

The room was very clean and neat. The staff were really friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the TV cable service was not great. The remote barely worked. Not sure if it was the cable service or what. Other than that our stay was great! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Run down and dirty. Photos of rooms were taken a long time ago and do not reflect current condition of the property. Our room had stains on the couch, stains on headboard, stains on lampshades, the mirrors were rusting so badly that the edges were corroded off. The hallways filled up with marijuana smoke at night and the room across the hall was having a domestic dispute so loudly that it woke us up several times in the night. Felt unsafe walking around after dark. Not a typical experience for this hotel chain. Would not recommend.

I was in a room for people with disabilities though not very disabled. The room would have been great for someone who was. Loved the lay-out and with children would have been nice. The only bad thing for me was the water in all areas about 9:30 A.M. was barely lukewarm. My husband barely stood in the shower a minute. I am hoping if you got up early it would have been better. Loved being able to set temp in the room at your exact preference. Felt like a foam mattress and we both got hot and a big reminder to put temp down at night. Mattress okay as long as we kept on our sides. The middle had a valley. The price at a level we could live with cold water for one morning. Desk people were very pleasant. If you don't expect luxury and can sleep with some noises it was a very convenient location for us with lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Liked the nice fridge and room arrangement. If you take food,take paper plates etc. Also no hair dryer. Vanity sink in separate room. It felt safe and clean and nicely decorated. Also good parking and location.

This hotel needs corporate to wake up!

This use to be my favorite hotel to stay at whenever I had business in this area of MI. It has been over a year since i had business in the area and was so sad to see the deterioration of this lovely hotel. The doors to the 2 rooms I purchase never fully shut unless you pulled or pushed on them an issue that the hotel staff is aware of. The key to one room would not work, after talking to the front desk their answer was jiggle the handle and pull up on the handle once you place the card in. Again, the staff knows this is an issue and all door issues could be a dangerous situation. One of the first rooms we entered smelled of smoke and disinfectant cover up spray with carpet bunched up here and there. The staff was very accommodating and moved that room, only to open the door to another room full of bunched up carpet. But at least it didn’t smell. Those quaint fireplaces that you look forward to after a long day of work for relaxation, well they do not work. The staff was kind, generous and helpful. They went beyond to make things better and want their customers to be happy. I got the impression that they have tried to get the issues I described fixed and no one is listening to them. I hope corporate reads this and makes some major updates to this hotel the I regarded as lovely.
