"We had a wonderful week at Chateau du Trichot. What a lovely home you have. We saw much to enjoy in the garden, including two deer, humming birds on the lavender and a very sedate hare. The pool was rarely empty and we (attempted to) play tennis ! We all enjoyed evening singing around the Grand Piano, after warm balmy suppers on the Terrace. "Grand old chateau in beautiful rural area just outside of Villeneuve s/ Lot. Spacious, plenty bedrooms, great kitchen with everything you need in utensils, pots, pans, dishes and cutlery, all this surrounded by a lovely garden with outdoor seating, BBQ’s and swimming pool. Communication with the owner both before hand and on site was friendly and helpful. "A truly beautiful house and grounds, typical of the region. Good sized rooms, plenty of showers etc., well equipped mitchen and room for all 12 of us to eat, inside and out. The pool was a really good size and was cleaned half way through the week. The area is enchanting. Vianne is 5 minues away and has all enough local shops for top-up shopping. A very pretty Bastide town, with much historical interest. Main shopping in Lavardac or Nérac, both close. Water fun to be had kayaking on the Baise...
