Friendly lady handed us the keys and wished us a pleasant stay. The apartment was very clean. We cooked dinner both nights and had no problems. There is a grocery store and a gas station next door which is nice. The town was charming and all within walking distance. I would stay here again.

A lovely quiet holiday location

Really enjoyed the daily fresh fish market, very French, unspoilt location. Good for visiting Normandy beaches. Village has all the amenities needed.

Great little upstairs flat (if you can manage some stairs then you have no noise or footfall above you!) with a ready to use kitchen and fairly spacious balcony. Our host was friendly and helpful, the space clean and quiet. We could see the coast/English Channel from the balcony and (as it is a small sleepy Normandy village) it was amazing to have the only grocery store within a two minute walk. Plenty of local character with some views worth hiking for (and if you have a vehicle or the budget for Uber then you are obviously near lots of historical/WWII sites). Highly recommend!

Wonderful Apartment to Stay In

I was going to give the accuracy of the online listing a 2 star because the pictures online do not do this lovely apartment justice. It is clean, spacious, has great views from the balcony and is in an excellent spot for visiting the Normandy area. Regine was wonderfully pleasant and friendly upon arrival and departure. The apartment block is clean and welcoming. The supermarket across the street is ideal for picking up all your essentials for your stay. The town, a very short walk away, has all you'll need for eating out, a few drinks, or even just for a wander around the marina. Lovely place to stay - highly recommended Thank you

Very quiet and very clean appartment

We did spend a short week in the appartment. The residence les jardins consists of 3 identical buildings. This appartment is situated in the middle. It is very well looked after and clean. A big advantage are the blinds in front of all windows. This makes the rooms very dark and gives you the possibility to sleep well. We have never heard any neighbour noise and had a very quiet stay. There is a big supermarkt right next to the residence and a bus stop (Bus Verts ligne 70) in front of the residence. Grandcamp Maisy is a nice little village with 2 good bakeries a couple of nice restaurants and a lovely daily fish market.

Très fonctionnel, ce qui est top c’est le grand balcon avec vue sur la mer.L’accueil de Mme Pain est très agréable, souriante, avenante, elle vous donnes de très bons conseils, vraiment adorable. Jolie et agréable petite ville, avec un port et des restaurants. Mention spécial pour le restaurant la Marée.Commerces accessibles à pied.Idéalement situé pour tous les sites du débarquement. Appartement correspondant parfaitement à la description, idéalement située pour visiter les plages du débarquement. Qui plus est, la propriétaire, Madame Pain est d'une gentillesse incroyable et ses conseils tant au niveau restauration qu'au niveau visite étaient optimaux, nous n'avons pas été déçu du tout. Une adresse à conseiller et à garder dans le coin de l'oeil pour une éventuelle visite plus tard.
