SEA VIEW HOUSE - 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY - LANDING BEACHES

A 90 m² house just for you; to discover, to write, to read or simply to think...

Authentic fisherman's house, renovated since 2008, on 3 levels with 2 sea views (1st and 2nd floor), ideally located in the very center of Grandcamp-Maisy.
The beach on foot with this house located 40 meters from the sea.
Grandcamp-Maisy is located between the landing beaches of June 6, 1944 (Utah Beach and Omaha Beach).
This townhouse without exterior is also located 5 km from the historic site of Pointe du Hoc where a breathtaking view of the sea awaits you.

Closed courtyard to store bicycles, beach games...

Forget the car: At the foot of the house you will find all the shops (bakeries, butchers, newsagents, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket) and all the leisure activities you will need.
Fishing and pleasure port – Treat yourself to fish and shellfish every morning at the Fish Market 3 minutes away on foot.

Ground floor: Fitted and equipped open kitchen with beautiful dining area and relaxation area – Shower room with WC.
1st floor: Large spacious and bright living room of 30 m² with sea view, TV.
2nd floor: 2 separate bedrooms: 1 with bed facing the sea including a 140x190 bed and the 2nd bedroom with 2 beds 90 x 190 – This second bedroom gives access to the bathroom.
Sheets, duvets, pillows and tea towels provided.
All windows have roller shutters, perfect for a sound sleep

Parking possible in front of the house and in the surrounding streets and communal car parks also free within 200 meters.

La Vélomaritime: Bike route from Grandcamp-Maisy to Port-en-Bessin-Huppain (freeway greenway along the Bessin cliffs).

Lovely stay in Grandcamp Maisy

We enjoyed our 5 days in Pascale's house immensely. Exceptionally clean, well equipped and ideally located for the bakery, beach, butchers, bars and restaurants. Great sea views, the binoculars were a nice touch. A great base for our exploration of the area and D-Day historical sites. Highly recommend and hopefully we will return one day. Thank you Pascale!

Beautiful house in an amazing location

I almost don’t want to give this house a good rating as I want to keep it for myself! Gorgeous, house in the center of town and central to the Normandy beaches. Such a perfect location. Communications from the owner was fantastic and we felt very welcome. Very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Perfect for the four adults who stayed, possibly not so suitable for small children or those with limited mobility due to the stairs. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic Hosts, Great Stay

Stayed for 17 days to celebrate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Xavier and Pascale could not have been friendlier or more helpful. We love Grandcamp and the location was fantastic. We are extremely picky about cleanliness and so are they. Unit came equipped with pretty much everything one could need. If mobility is an issue, be aware that there are 3 stories connected by a spiral staircase.

Das Haus ist komfortabel, gemütlich, charmant eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz. Alles war sauber und es wurde Seife und Toilettenpapier zur Verfügung gestellt. 2 Toiletten sind für eine Familie praktisch. Die Nähe zum Strand ist wunderbar. Nous connaissions déjà la Normandie. Nous venions surtout pour la fête Viking à Isigny-sur-Mer. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil de notre hôte (avec quelques petites attentions). La maison est très belle et très typique (vue sur mer du salon et de la chambre parentale) avec un très bel escalier. Le logement était très propre. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

week-end au top ! la location est très bien située proches des grands sites touristiques. Belle maison idéalement située

La location tient toutes ses promesses, l'accueil y est chaleureux. Situé à quelques mètres de la mer, non loin du port, l'emplacement offre plusieurs possibilités sur place, de balades en famille comme de nombreux restaurants et cafés pour tous les goûts. Sinon, nous avons pu visiter différents musées et sites comme Omaha beach, Ste Mère l Église, le cimetière Américain de Colleville sur Mer... à moins de 20 minutes de voiture. Nous conseillons vivement et aussi sa tranquillité.

Sehr wohlgefühlt

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wohnung geht über drei Ebenen. Holzfußboden, Zimmer sehr schön. Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten (Herd, Mikrowelle, Spülmaschine, reichlich Geschirr, Töpfe und Besteck, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine). Vom Schlafzimmer wirklich (da zweite Reihe rechts und links etwas eingeschränkter) Blick auf's Meer (und kleinen Leuchtturm 15 Meter vor dem Fenster - blinken stört aber nicht, da gute Jalousien). Bäckerei nur 10 Meter entfernt. An allen Tagen Parkplatz in höchstens 100 Meter Entfernung gefunden.
