"Worst hotel I've ever stayed in and I' spent 55 years travelling on business every week so I've stayed in many.
I wondered why it was so cheap but it was one night only after a ferry crossing so taken in by the nice pictures on the website I booked it.
More fool me"
"Great stay to explore Normandie. The breakfast spread was amazing. We had the family suite, 2 levels and very private. Bathroom and cups/dishes could be a bit cleaner, otherwise the rooms, bedding were all great. Free night parking right outside. Felt very safe at the marina. "
"Very quaint little town picture perfect absolutely gorgeous.Hotel is small cozy and family operated which was very nice ,food was great service was excellent .Love it !"
"Excellent service from Henrik at reception who went over and above his role to assist with an issue primarily caused by expedia in fee payment delay. The hotel family room was spotless, very spacious with a secure parking lot and with the super welcoming friendly service of Henrik we fully recommend staying at this hotel."

"We had a great stay at the Barriere Royal. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. As we are kosher they not only were able to heat up our food for us but picked it up for us since the establishment wouldnât deliver. The spa was great, breakfast was delicious and expansive. It is right off the beach and walking distance to all the great shopping. The hotel does feel like it needs a refresh - much of the decor is old. Also I was disappointed to have been charged such a hefty fee to get a beach chair given that it is a beach hotel. "

"A beautifully appointed hotel, with polite, friendly and professional staff, in a lovely part of France.
Having a view of the sea is always special too"
"Property is minutes away from the beach. Also 15 minute walk from the train station. Keep this in mind because there are literally no taxis in town. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Be careful storing things in the safe, I noticed things go missing in mine. "
