Scruffy, stuffy noisy room
Really average bordering on the scruffy room. The bathroom was scruffy, the nearest toilet ran out of paper. My room was road side, it was stuffy and noisy from passing traffic, the fan made a grinding noise. I’ve had better for less elsewhere! Won’t go back can’t recommend
It is tired, desperately in need of decorating and updating. Very basic. There appeared to be hairs in one of the beds. Extremely hot despite fans being provided, can’t imagine what it would be like in the height of summer. Appreciated there being coffee and tea making facilities, although kettle looked pretty grotty. Not somewhere we’d choose to stay again.
Room was ok but no extractor fan for shower and taps full of limescale. No rooms for disabled people so had to climb up set of stairs. As pub was only open for certain amount of times we had to go down the fire escape to get in/out of the building and you can imagine what it would be like for a disabled person having to carry luggage up and down wet stairs.
Had party on and music blaring out gone midnight so could hear it all night long and every word!

Any port in a storm, ok for a quick overnight stay. Rooms very basic. Exit and entry via metal staircase, wife felt they were unsafe. Staff friendly enough. Didn’t do any food.
Arrived at 2.30 pm. Pub not opened until 4.00 pm.
Nasty stain on landing carpet.
Bed not nice to sleep on, felt a spring in my back.
We left at 5.30, unable to sleep on the beds.
Not a good stay. Never again.
The pub is quite basic but clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The main downside, especially as we were in one of the front bedrooms, was the traffic noise.
