Very cute motel on Route 66. They were very dog friendly which I appreciated. We would definitely stay there again

Really special renovated "Route 66" motel. Owner was so friendly amd helpful, room. was charming, nicely renovated with lots of vintage "Route 66" decor. AC worked great, too!

This was a perfect little room that made my trip worth it. Wasnt fancy but it was cute and soo comfy. Slept amazingly!!! Staff was great and welcoming to me. I will definitely be staying here anytime I'm around grants nm

Good place, the staff was helpful with local recommendations and such. Nice location on old Route 66, and convenient to the Malpais. Plenty of good dining options, some even walking distance. Like many motels it’s a little old and there were some repair issues - we had some troubles with the lights.

Mini Staycation

We took a mini staycation with our neighbor friends to enjoy a night in Grants. The motel was nice and we enjoyed the very friendly customer service by the night clerk. We like that the motel is pretty much in the middle of all the “to dos” in Grants. If we had known that pets were welcome we would have taken our little guy, Bassett Dachshund cross. Next time for sure.

Staff was great, but property is older and showing it. Thin walls, old furniture and beds. Lots of road and railroad noise, but all hotels on that road would have that issue as well.

Basic road trip sleepover

The owners are about 4 months into a remodel. Some items not yet completed. Ie bathroom floor and missing closet rod. The staff was exceptionally helpful. We just needed a basic sleepover on a road trip that was pet friendly. This is a very basic and nostalgic Route 66 style motel. The bed was comfy. Room clean.

Retro motel near El Malpais. Location was great. Bed was comfy and room seemed clean, but a little run down. Shower was awful. I’m always a little suspicious when linens and towels are gray because it hides stains. Front desk was pleasant.

Great owner

The motel was very easy to get to. It is an old motel but well kept and clean. Felt very safe in that area. Motel checkin was awesome. The owner was absolutely amazing and helpful.
