"Staying in the iconic Castle Hotel in Berwick is very convenient and close to the train staion and the town. Highly recommended if you travel by train. The hotel staff is friendly and provides free cold breakfast or charged hot breakfast. The room is clean daily and the little downside is the little drainage smell inside the room but not affected the 5 star experience."

"Excellent and would highly recommend stay, food and junior suite with hot tub. Areas of improvement: Old plumbing pipes by the hot tub in room 24 fires off unpleasant scents here and there and staff could be a bit more friendly and approachable."

"Room very nice. Food good overall although only cooked breakfasts. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening steak night. Downside no private parking. Staff excellent. The village is pleasant to walk round. If staying on the top floor the stairs can be a challenge as the staircase is narrow. "

"We LOVED this little inn. Our room was adorable, clean and nice, and had little touches like shortbread cookies. The food is excellent--I recommend the fish for breakfast. We would love to come stay again."
