"Property was perfect for us. Plenty of room including a bedroom and wc downstairs and an enclosed garden for our dog. The house is in a good neighbourhood I think. We intended to leave our car overnight in the garage but in the end it was too tight a squeeze to get it in (not the property owner's fault!), so we left it in a parking bay each evening and it was fine. "Probably my fault but I didn't realize deposit had to be in cash. So had to scramble to find ATM to get $300. Then checking out they doubled the cleaning fee on us. They didn't provide toilet paper or dish soap and had to go to the store to buy some. Would have been nice to know there was no toilet paper before going to the bathroom."

"Helene was a superb host. Her communication from booking to check in was excellent, and she came to welcome us at the start of our stay and farewell us at the end. The house is beautiful and even better than the pictures, with a fabulous view of the sea, the saltwater lido pool in the bay and the bouchon mussel farm round the bay. The living rooms are spacious, light, and you ah w great views from the front of the house and of course the balcony which runs across the whole front of the house....

Family members were available for our transport. We had to find somewhere to stay at short notice, to attend a family funeral. August in France is always booked up well in advance."

"Nice semi-detached house (owners nice and live next door). Basic facilities no provisions other than salt, pepper and toilet roll. We had to ask for bedding as it was presumed we had brought our own (?!), no towels. Musty smell in living area, but clean otherwise. Good for base for sightseeing beaches, Cancale, St Malo etc."
