The room was beautiful. The staff was very friendly, and the personal service at breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is quiet and is located near tram lines, which was very useful. It was a great place from which to navigate the city, especially the historic district. One difference is that there is no front desk staff to assist if you have questions, so you have to be a little more independent in arranging things such as taxis. However, a helpful online guide is provided.

Lovingly maintained and run and in the old center of Bordeaux. This is a great location -- easy walking distance of the cathedral, Catherine Street and the main shopping areas, restaurants as well as several museums and historical points of interest. They had a good library of books including local travel books which was nice for checking museum details, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The owner Juliette was very hospitable and helpful. If you don't speak French she has great English too. She takes great care of her property and makes a great little breakfast for you in the morning. The bed and breakfast is in a quiet part of town and a 5 min walk into the downtown area.

Small hotel with just eight rooms in an 18th century building. My room was on the third floor - no elevator - not a concern for me but may be for others. Really enjoyed my stay. Within 15-30 minute walk of the center’s attractions. Excellent breakfast. Very warm hosts. Air conditioning was much appreciated during these very hot days at the end of June.
