"Villa Emma is just as described, beautiful!! The house was perfect and the pool was our favorite hang out spot. It is nestled among 4,000 orange trees with a view of the sea and Mt Aetna. The location made it very easy to see sites. Would recommend and can’t wait to bring my kids back!!!"

"The owner Salvo was a lovely host who went out of his way to show us around and keep things running smoothly. He also offers a great guided tour of Etna, at rates lower than the tourist guides and is personalised to suit your requirements. The villa is lovely, reasonably well furnished with a pool and views across to Etna and the sea. It is located in a quiet private and gated housing estate, but a good 45 min walk to Brucoli. "really lovely old style italian propoerty but equipped well. The old style adds to the charm of the propoerty. The outdoor spce a large with many shaded areas and a great pool. The hosts were very welcoming and gave a good introduction. The location is great - walking distance to the local town which is pretty and friendly. Discovered a couple of really lovely restaurants."

Romano Palace Luxury Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Overall experience was great. Staff was friendly, professional and all around great. Lots of outdoor areas to hangout and spend time outside. Pool area was nice. Minibar was stocked with good options and the prices are not bad comparing to other hotels I've stayed. It was almost cheaper to drink from the minibar vs. The actual hotel bar. Pool area was nice but maybe in the busy season it could get growded. Each room has Echo device with Alexa, so you can play music or get other information easily. The room i stayed was clean and good but some things were little outdated and rundown, some USB charging ports by the bed was not working, the thermostat screen and buttons were damaged but i was still able to turn down the temperature, i just couldn't see the actual temperature reading. But because the staff was so great and my stay was great, these things did not bother me. TV channels are all in italian, or at least the 100+ channels i scrolled thru, so if you like watching TV during your stay and don't understand the language, i recommend to bring your own movies or tv shows. I would stay here again. 1 night - room 109 - male 43 - shoe size 11"

Grand Hotel Baia Verde

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel was in a beautiful setting on a cliff overlooking the Ionian Sea. Room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of patio space with sun beds by the large saltwater pool and attractive pool bar with extensive bar menu. Food was good. Staff were wonderful. Parking was gated and free - we were lucky to secure a spot as it was off season and one could not reserve in advance. Only criticism was that the hotel was a sprawling design and easy to get lost, and decor a bit dated."
