"Overall a nice chalet and a great position in the village, perfect for our needs. Nice kitchen and large living area with good size table. Great to have 3 showers and plenty of storage for 8 of us. Plenty of hot water and heating works well throughout. We would suggest an update to lounge/seating area but perhaps some lounge chairs. Village has 3 good resturants and bars are good. Well stocked Sherpa shop with fresh bread and all essentials. We will recommend to others!"

"Second year here. Chalet is exactly as described. Very, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Quiet , picturesque location. Easy access to ski bus. Fred, local ski hire shop, very good. Used the well stocked small Carrefour in Moriond for our “supplies”, didn’t seem to be that expensive . We’ll hopefully return."

"We loved this beautiful, charming, rustic traditional Chamonix chalet nestled in the quiet part of Chamonix. Only a short 15 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Chamonix and yet the chalet was so peaceful and quiet at all times. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. "We have just returned from a great week, the chalet was great, nice and clean with everything you require for a stay. The kitchen is well equipped with spices and a few sauces sugar etc. Jacky was very helpful to us as he knows the local area really well, he gave us advice for buses up to the ski areas. "Leider mussten wir in der Küche alles zuerst putzen bevor wir es benutzen konnten. Auch den Grill konnte man nicht benutzen da er so dreckig war. Die Polster auf der Lounge draussen waren zerrissen und voll mit Vogelkot. Für diesen Preis hätte ich etwas anderes erwartet."

"Chalet Oscar is in a fantastic location central to town. We had a big group (6 adults and one infant) which works well in the layout of the chalet. It is only 8 mins walk to a great bakery, 2 minutes walk to a fantastic bar and about 10 minute into the centre of town. Access to activities was brilliant and we got free train passes from the tourist office which made for a great week when not much else was open. "l’ours Brun is a great chalet in a great location literally a stones throw from 2 lifts. The kitchen was new and really well equipped. Great dining table that can comfortably seat 16. Living area is spacious and comfortable. "Our group of family and friends had a wonderful weekend in the mountains. This house was perfect for our group, with comfy beds and a nice, big gathering area. The hot tub was a hit with the kids. Our hosts were so accommodating and kind. We’d love to come back someday."

"Location stupenda casa molto bella. L accesso non è facile (auto a circa 200 metri e accesso in strada dissestata in forte salita). Per portare i bagagli necessario aiuto di un pickup, garantito al checkin ma non fornito al checkout, e questo è un problema. Unica nota sulla casa: il piano seminterrato, fornito di sei posti letto e un bagno, è un vero e proprio scantinato, con inevitabile umidità e la presenza di tanti ragni. Davvero difficile da abitare. Confortevole invece il piano superiore....

"We just loved our stay at Socali, the house was perfect and the area was perfect. We were able to walk straight from the house (did not need to drive anywhere). The area was stunningly beautiful, breathtaking mountain scenery and blue sky. Everywhere we went people were lovely, and we were able to chat with our little bitof french language. The house is not very big, but perfect for the two of us. There are beds for 6 people, bu the house wold be quite full! It was immaculately clean and well...

"Plenty of room in the Chalet for our group and nice to have the games room as well, not something we've had before. The location suited us well, we could walk into the village each evening for a meal (15-20min) with plenty of restaurants to choose from and just a short drive to the ski lift with free parking. You will need your own car and the Chalet is an older one but that was reflected in the listing just don't expect it to be brand new"

"Was a bit far for Annecy Film festival, but bus was very close and ran frequently. Staff were helpful and room was very comfortable. Nice to have kitchen. Parking was small extra charge per day. "
