Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo

"Beautiful, spacious room overlooking the harbor. The staff was kind, helpful and attentive. The property is beautifully maintained and within easy walking distance of everything. A few important notes about access to the affiliated properties: access to the beach club doesn't include chairs on the pier, and doesn't include access to the other properties on the same day as check-out, which was very disappointing."

"Stayed in a very spacious disabled room on the 4th floor with a city view. Twin beds were very comfortable. Wifi was just okay, breakfast options could have been better (I didn't bother on the 2nd day) One working coffee machine was terrible. Usual rubbish toaster etc. Outstanding reception staff though, Very friendly & helpful."

"We really enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. The room was clean and the balcony was a nice place to relax. The pool area was clean and the pool was outstanding with beautiful views all around. The staff were friendly and polite. We did have to wait a bit when looking for service at the pool, it seems the bell for contacting staff may have been faulty but the maintenance staff sorted that out without issue. We enjoyed our breakfast with a varied choice to suit all tastes. We found the dinner menu to be a bit lacking in choice and the food was a bit bland, for example, the Thai chicken curry seemed to lack spice. The bar area was nice, with inside and outside seating and we found the staff to be helpful and polite, as were the staff at reception and in the breakfast and dining room. There isn’t really anything to complain about as a hotel of choice but it is rather remote, so unless you are driving your own or a rental car, transport to and from Eze village or beyond via taxi or uber are rather expensive for the distance travelled, which cannot be done as a pedestrian on foot. There are no pavements on the road to and from the hotel into Eze village."

"Very welcoming staff.Lovely bright clean room. Gorgeous views from balcony (4th floor) Spa balcony lovely to sit out early evening. Well situated to wander along beach front. Not very far from Old Town for evening walks. We didn’t book breakfast but little bar downstairs was lovely to come back to on the evening."

"The hotel has a stunning view of lake and mountains. We had a lake view room, which was absolutely worth it. The spa is great- highly recommend the massage and body scrub. The terrace is a fantastic place to sir and have a drink, enjoy the view of the lake. Here the staff were inattentive to those customers sitting at the far end. Otherwise the staff were great and treated us to a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit cheesecake for our wedding anniversary. We would definitely return!"
