"The room was clean, towels were excellent, the bed mattresses were very soft and created sleeping difficulties for me. Breakfast was sub-par. The cranberry juice was mostly water, the toaster was slow, and not a wide variety of options. Only hot item was oatmeal."

"Basic accommodations with beds but no desks. Strongest advantage of being close to Bar Harbor village. Welcoming and very informative staff."

"Staff was courteous and helpful. Location not the best as a mile or so from town and not good transportation option. Seemed only ONE UBER and had to use taxis which were hard to obtain some of the time. Parking in town is not an option as it was crawling with tourists. Comfortable beds and nice towels."

"Had an amazing 3 night stay in a beautiful tent nestled in the trees with plenty of privacy. It was quiet at night. The tent is well equipped. The electric heaters in the beds and space heaters were effective for the cool September nights. Would highly recommend."

"The hotel was charming thanks to the wonderful staff and attentiveness to the rooms! Rachel and Christopher were just a delight and so very helpful at the front desk! The hotel was very convenient to walk around Bar Harbor as well as visiting Acadia National Park. They offer some grab and go items for breakfast like oatmeal, yogurt, and granola bars which was perfect for us to get an early start on the trails! We would definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends!"

"We loved our stay at the pathmaker’s hotel. It was a very welcoming place and all the staff were very kind. Our room was wonderful, and the location was perfect to park our car and walk to all of the local restaurants and bars. We would highly recommend for anyone to stay at Pathmaker."
