"Comfortable, well equipped and clean"

"It was my 70th birthday on the 8th August. I thought it would be lovely to celebrate it with my family. 14 of us went -myself, husband, my 3 children and partners and my 6 grandchildren. There was plenty of space for us all. The house and garden were ideal. We all had a wonderful 3 days."

"Excellent communication. Ample parking. The property was immaculate, with a nice mix of modern and antique furniture. The kitchen had everything you could need, and more. Comfortable beds. Lovely grounds with great views, and we were treated to a couple of amazing sunsets. Would definitely stay here again."

"This is a really lovely cottage with everything you could possibly need in the property. It is very well maintained and the welcome pack of homemade bread and jam, eggs ,orange juice and crisps was delicious. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Jean and Brian are really good hosts and we would look at retuning in the future. "

"Could be nice property but major TLC needed. Bedding is very poor and new beds needed. Small room ceiling is falling down, badly stained from leaks in above bathrooms. Bathrooms need showers fitted properly and bath sealant sorting out. Ivy growing into main bedroom. None of the doors close properly. Kitchen very dated, under sink is rotten. Dish washer needs sorting. Needs more kitchen equipment. I thought we were in a courtyard with swimming pool and children's play area. Not so we were...

"We had never stayed in a pod before and I was very pleasantly surprised. The hosts had laid on everything we could possibly need and were so friendly and helpful. We especially loved the wonderful breakfast hamper. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The pod is in a back garden of a house on a new estate (which we had a very nice evening walk around) but has been thoughtfully sited so it felt very private and was a lovely place to enjoy the evening sun."
