"Extremely large, busy hotel. Room a bit cramped with 2 small double beds. Not quite what I expected for executive double. However our daughter loved the facilities available for children and enjoyed chilling in the teenage room, the Hive. The only disappointment with this was that although it was advertised as being for age 9 plus it was full of much younger children so that made it harder to use the facilities."

"Tthe breakfast was greatly appreciated, on terms of improvements the pancakes seemed to be from the toaster oven so they were hard around the perimeter. Waffles on the other hand tasted under cooked. It rotated menus from scramble to omelelttes but a decent variety."

"Check-in was very easy and quick. The bathroom needs some TLC but otherwise the room is very comfortable. In the morning hours, the volume of the music in the lobby was very loud to the point where it was difficult to talk comfortably to the front desk. The renovations to this historic hotel were very well done. Overall very nice!"
