Union Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Union Hotel was great! Very close to Union Station, which is why we chose this hotel in the first place. The decor is super fun and in general, the atmosphere was groovy. We didn’t have time to try to coffee shop in the lobby, but would definitely like to if I returned. Rooms were small, but that’s normal for downtown Toronto, and the beds were super comfy. Water pressure was a little low in the shower, and the soundproofing between the bathroom and the rest of the room wasn’t great, but it’s not a dealbreaker."

"Nice hotel, there’s only maid service every three days. It was a nuisance to have garbage. I had to call to get more towels. But it was marathon weekend and everyone was friendly. A few things in the room were annoying. But overall, a nice place to stay. I also wished they had a sundries store"

"Unfortunately the hotel had some plumbing issues and we weren’t able to stay there. However, they made arrangements for us to stay at the Hilton down the street just a short distance. It was an amazing room and an upgrade to what we booked. The staff at the Oakes was great."
