"We stayed here after a connecting flight was cancelled and rebooked to the following day. The shuttle comes every 15 min so it was easy to get to and from Ohare. Room was clean. And staff was so kind! Just what we needed after a crazy day of traveling. No complaints!"

"Room was clean and staff was nice for the most part the bar staff seemed annoyed about us ordering and being there till 12am. The big issue with this place is the rooms themselves no water pressure and no working tv or fridge. Also would like to add you can tell their refurbishment was half done but the elevator is very fast the placement of hotel is awesome and security is good"

"The bartenders were great. The rooftop bar is quaint and dark. Nice vibe. The hotel itself is tight, but it was in a perfect location to shopping on Michigan Avenue. Leo was great with valeting our car. It is also very close to the Northwestern Medical campus and the Children's Hospital. Overall, it was a good location for a short stay."

"It was our worst stay . Room was filthy . Sofa /couch had urine marks . I have photographs . They did not clean rooms for 2 days . Towels were not replaced. Staff asked to see them in person to collect towels . Telephone call were not picked or answered ."

"I enjoyed my stay at the Chelsea Hotel! I love the rooftop pool, sauna, and terrace. I think with a few updates to bring the interior design into the modern era, this hotel could be excellent. Housekeeping was so kind and the concierge and bellhops were very knowledgeable and helpful. Great location too, it's near everything!"

Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls

"Stayed here primarily for the location, and that is definitely the hotel’s biggest strength. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the property is within walking distance of Niagara Falls attractions, restaurants, Clifton Hill, and other tourist spots. Being able to leave the car parked and explore on foot was very convenient. Unfortunately, several aspects of the stay fell short of expectations. The staff often seemed inattentive, and service requests were not consistently followed through. Housekeeping was only available upon request, but even after requesting service, no one came to the room. Towels were limited, and getting additional supplies was inconvenient. The hotel also charges both a parking fee and a resort fee, which felt excessive considering the amenities offered. The property doesn’t really provide a resort-like experience. The gym is extremely small, the pool is tiny, there are no coffee-making amenities in the room, and there is only one microwave available for guests, located in the lobby. Overall, the rooms and location are the highlights, but the amenities and service need improvement to justify the additional fees."
