"The best (and perhaps the only good thing) that can be said about Congress Plaza Hotel is its excellent location at a bargain. There's no AC in rooms, water from the shower is luke warm, rooms have not been renovated since the Bears won a SB (perhaps even earlier). But boy - do you get an excellent location at a great price. So if the plan is to spend the money sightseeing this beautiful city, eat at its wonderfully diverse restaurants and not spend the vacay budget on a hotel (or stay 2 miles and an Uber trip away from everything), then this is your hotel. "

"The room is very clean. Staff are very friendly. The check in and check out process is super fast. No more than 3 minutes top. It’s in a great quiet neighborhood which I love and there’s a mall 10 mins away by driving. They have a parking lot that’s extra pay though. The only thing that is bad is the WiFi connection is not the best. It would keep going on and off randomly. There is a gym, store and restaurant in the lobby. There is an indoor and outdoor pool. I’ve stayed there 3 times already. I know I will be staying there again if I’m ever back in Toronto "
