"The hotel is great. Room clean and cozy. Beds comfortable. Reception staff cordial but cold (a certain attitude hard to descrieb). A bit of walk to center, but not too far. Breakfast excellent. "

"Our second visit and it certainly did not disappoint. From our arrival, being met in the car park, through our stay to the very last minute, the staff could not do enough for us. Room was spacious and well laid out. Lemon cake already in the room was delicious. Grounds are amazing especially if like me, you are interested in plants, their growth and wellbeing. The orchard and veg/herb gardens are a joy. We opted for the tasting menu which was wonderful. Strawberry dessert was to die for. Just before we left we were lucky enough to meet Raymond Blanc who happily stood with us gor a photo and signed our copy of the menu. Second visit, now looking forward to our third hopefully. "
