"The hotel was great, the staff were amazing and worked so hard. The girl at charcoal in was so helpful about the airport shuttle and holding our bags while we returned the hire car. Sadly, the restaurant and bar staff were very frustrated, as were we, because there were no were near enough of them for the volume of guests using those facilities. They were the same staff who were working different positions earlier in the day. The food was great, but not worth the wait. At the end of a long travel day waiting an hour for your meal and eating it without a drink because the staff just couldn't keep up was a big disappointment. Maybe something had happened to cause them to be so short staffed that day, but as this was are only visit it was out only experience."

"Warm welcoming staff. Excellent parking and relaxed atmosphere. Brilliant breakfasts and restaurant offers great menu choices and a tempting wine list. Attended during probably busiest week of year and in a heat wave but staff were cheerful and exceptionally hard working throughout our stay. A fine example for all workers to follow whatever their work"
