"DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The whole places is filled with the smell of mold, you can see it everywhere if you pay attention. My room got switched 5 times in 24 hrs on my bday we finally ended up in a suite. Air conditioners don’t work. One room we hit the lights it was a roach trying to run out and another dead roach someone killed. All of the restaurants are trash only the steak house had good steak thank god. Only the entertainment is good and the buffet, after a while your just eating the same thing over and over. I guess ppl get so drunk and it’s affordable they don’t care. Everyone I ran into we asked about their room, they got changed at least once and had a story that matched one of the 5 rooms we got switched from. This whole places needs to be shut down it’s a dump and some from desk ppl had the nerve to be upset and rude and talking about ppl in Spanish. "

"Desreen was amazing she’s everything.. I would request for her to be my housekeeper.. I will be back my birthday was by far the best to date .. I gained 15 pounds in 6 days .. omg I love RIU.. the staff just a great organization.. top tier."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely return. The property was very clean throughout, including the rooms, pools, beach areas, and common spaces. The beach is beautiful, although a little rocky in some spots, but still a lovely place to relax and enjoy the water. What truly made this hotel special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Alexa at reception, who was outstanding ,professional, kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. She made a big difference in our stay. Also, Trudy-Ann from housekeeping was amazing, trust worthy , thorough, friendly, and kept our room spotless. The food was excellent, with many delicious options every day. There was always something great to eat, and the restaurants were very enjoyable. The bartenders were also fantastic, friendly, fun, and attentive.We also loved the entertainment. The shows were very well done, with great singers and dancers, and it was nice that they offered entertainment for both kids and adults. There were always activities at the pools and beach, which made the stay even more enjoyable.The only issue we experienced was with the room keys, which stopped working more than once. Having to return to the front desk to reactivate them was frustrating. Aside from that small inconvenience, this hotel exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, specially if you are a family wanting a good vacation."
