"Stayed for one night and the hotel felt very clean. Didn't have that strange hotel odor that some places have. The staff was friendly. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We arrived later in the evening, so it was nice that the pool was open till 11pm. I was happy with the room and would stay here again."

"The property was comfortable and very stylishly decorated. Comfy bed, and nice intimate back porch. Close to downtown where we found some excellent food and drink. Owner was very friendly and communicated well. Highly recommend."

"Our daughter plays lacrosse for FSU so was unable to come home for her birthday which fell the day before Easter. We were looking for a home we could rent that we could cook meals in and visit with our daughter yet give our 13 year old something to do. My parents ended up coming as well. It was wonderful! The house was well stocked and we were able to cook a full Easter dinner that we all enjoyed and give my daughter that home cooked meal she misses. It was also large enough to accommodate family in the area to come and hang with us a little bit and visit. We never found or saw the pond pictured in the photos but the canal was right there. The wifi is slow but that is the area in general and with all the fun we were having we didn't need it anyway. The grounds were nicely kept and the house was so clean and inviting. The owners even baked cookies for us and had them there for our arrival! Loved it!"

"Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!"
