The hotel is very charming and clean. Lowell is a cute tiny and the locals are very nice. Service was great at hotel and nearby restaurant. Only downside of the hotel room was no thermostat to control individual room temp so it was a little chilly but not unbearable.

Very cool historic hotel. We had a great time hanging out in the bar downstairs and then only had to walk up to our room. The bathroom looked updated and was extremely clean. The king size bed was super comfortable.

I had a 5-night stay that was made very pleasant by Maddie (sp?) who offered to make me fresh coffee when I checked out at 4:30 am, and always had a positive attitude with any of my asks.
This place is situated in between many farms and corn fields, at a truck stop, so the smell was very strong when it came in on the wind. There were times it didn't smell, too, so it's weather-based. I donāt usually take the time to write reviews but I thought this hotel really stood out! The lobby area was so nice with fooseball and board games, the pool was warm and clean, and one of the staff got me breakfast at 9:50 when it closed at 9:00 (I thought it closed at 10, but thatās only on weekendsā¦) I canāt wait to come back again.
