"Everything was wonderful. Communication was great. At one point we lost power due to weather & wind conditions. Ken found a way to communicate with us, giving updates as to when the power and water would be back on.All of our needs were met. Beds were comfortable, and all linens were in good condition. When any concerns were raised, there was openess, and all taken care of.The home is comfortable, well apportioned, and "homey". The porch was great and the view was simply stunning!We hope to be back at some point. Thank you for a great "girls get away". 5 Stars all round."

"The Escape is the quintessentially perfect, warmly inviting, private, beautiful location for those who appreciate a large amount of space for important gatherings requiring all of the things noted in its description. The natural setting is wonderfully peaceful. Host was great. A great location for outdoor enthusiasts, local shopping and excellent dining in Saluda, Tryon, Landrum, Flat Rock, Asheville within very reasonable driving distancea. A nice trail hike (or brief drive) will bring you to the Orchard Inn (a favorite). We chose The Escape for a very important occasion and it exceeded our expectations. "

"This property was fantastic . How could you not love staying in a 1800s caboose . The property was very clean and love location to town . We loved the upper level that overlooked the town with firepit and gas grill. We used the washer and dryer which were brand new. We did some hiking , exploring , wineries etc and still didn't a lot of time at this property . I would definitely recommend booking this property . We would definitely stay here again ."
