"My wife has pledged in the past to never have me book a motel with a number in it's name, but the motels in west Des Moines were sold out and it was getting late. We found this one with an available room so we took it and we are very pleased that we did. All Motel 6's are not created equal as this one exceeded our expectations in all areas of review."

"A much needed get away for 3 young widows. We came to the area to ride the pedal powered Rail Explorer in Boone (about an hour away). We laughed, cried and left restored. This place is so special! Kris, you are a gem and so kind. Thank you for creating a place for people to rest and refresh. There were 2 full bathrooms. The beds had great sheets/bedding and the mattresses were comfortable. The home was clean and the kitchen had all we needed to do a little cooking. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets. The fire pit was da-bomb! There were many other little touches that made this place to a 10 out of 5. You can't go wrong renting this place."

"The occasion for our visit was one of our son’s wedding. My husband and I arrived ahead of everyone else, prepped the rehearsal dinner on the charcoal grill and in the kitchen. Family and guests starting arriving on Friday. The house was everything we needed; from the kitchen to the sleeping arrangements, adults to toddler to preschool. The owner was very welcoming, helpful and prompt to text questions. The house was clean, well stocked with bed linens, and very nicely decorated. Thank you for sharing your house with us!"
