"What an amazing property and location! We alternated between "stay at home" days and all-day "excursions" to the far reaches of lower Nova Scotia. Lunenburg, Liverpool, Wolfville, Annapolis Royal, Digby, and Long Island are all within 2.5 hours drive on mostly-empty roads. Only saw two RCMPs in 13 days, so very little speed limit enforcement. Hit the NSLC Signature stores in Bridgewater, Liverpool, or Lunenburg for the best wines. The house is well equipped for cooking and we did just that on most days. We found the butcher shop and Soeby's in Bridgewater had the meats, fish, and produce that we needed. The house has a brand-new set of 12 steak knives from Canadian Tire."
