"Beautiful and tranquil get away nestled in the Carmel Valley. Delicious restaurant on property (Lucia) and wonderful homegrown wine (Bernardus label - the Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are delicious). Close to Carmel-by-the-Sea and everything good!"

"There is no words to describe the area. The property is on a cliff overlooking a very breathtaking ocean view. The trip to the property is an adventure itself. Big Sur is amazing. The property would be the best ending to unwind. Advice to those who are booking, please ensure your email has been received before you go. Note the lock box combination and room number from that email. There is no cell signal in most of the locations in Big Sur even to Carmel so download the maps. There is instructions in the signage at the property entrance in case you need to contact the property manager. There is no check in on property site so make sure you get your room key combo and room number info. If ever you need to contact them, you would need to connect to public wifi and pay the fee before you could call as again there is no signal. If you have prepared well, then this is the paradise that you would be very happy you have discovered. This place is beyond amazing. I was a solo traveler on Memorial Day weekend. It was an amazing retreat for me. I stayed overnight. Enjoy and safe travels. "

"Beautiful place to stay amidst the redwoods. Very convenient for hiking trails and includes entrance into state parks in the area. Lodge area was pretty and inviting. Great park store as well "

The Hidden Valley Inn has undergone substantial renovations of late and the property keeps getting better and better with each stay. Highly recommended!"

"WE were worried about music coming from a party next door, but once we closed the door to our room we did not hear anything. We slept like a baby. The iron on the ironing board we thought it was an overkill, but whatever works. Thank you"

"we loved that it was peaceful, has an adult pool, places to walk and get exercise beyond the golf course, plus many options for physical activities. We also visited the Coral which was in the most beautiful location, so cleanly and loved the variety of animals. Fun for any age. The only thing that we could complain about was the softness of the mattress. It seemed to have two imprinted bodies, so probably needs replacing. "
