"Positives... Clean, warm and cosy room. Comfortable bed. Cookies and sweets in room. Good night sleep. Great, tasty cooked and continental breakfast. Negative... Our devices couldnt find or connect to wifi. Small tv in room so found difficult to see."

"Loved our hut called Leveret, self check in with Tim there if you need anything. Private setting with lovely little garden area had a swing seat and bistro table for two. We used the fire pit to BBQ, there is a great Spa in the village that has all you need for cooking or the butchers in Rothbury have the most amazing sausages. The hot tub takes 3 hours or so to heat up but once heated it lasts for ages so you don’t really need to keep feeding the fire once you feel it’s almost warm enough ...

"Just returned from wonderful two night stay at Black burn Lodge and it lives up to the rave reviews. Stunning location by the river, where we spent the evenings in the gazebo enjoying the views and a glass of Baileys . The room was spotlessly clean with high quality bedlinen and furnishings. Also separate lounge if weather not great. The hosts make you feel so welcome and provide a lot of formation about where to eat and visit in the area. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again."

"Cannot rate the Bridge House highly enough. The B&B is a stone's throw from the (best bit of) wall and 20 steps from a great little pub to watch the sun set. The room, bed, and shower were all perfect and the breakfast was the best I had all trip. What's more, the hosts clearly don't think twice about going above and beyond for their guests, making sure that I had ice for a nagging injury from the trail despite my late arrival. Just a rare level of hospitality. "

"This was a great place to stay The management was simple wonderful. The rooms were clean and in great shape. We were able to get great information of the surrounding area. We were able to eat dinner at the Inn. Breakfast was included, which was delicious. The food was excellent. It was a good sampling of food in Wales. "

"This a great B & B in a lovely little village, run by a friendly and helpful couple. It is also doubles as tea room with a beautiful well-kept garden. Stairs are steep but if you are walking the Wall that is hardly a problem."
