It’s a nice hotel, it has a funky vibe to it and it’s very clean and the rooms are excellent. I definitely recommend it’s the perfect couple gate away hotel. Definitely coming back!!

friendly staff and welcome on arrival, tastefully decorated. comfortable and relaxed. Breakfast could be improved, A place of this caliber, I would expect fresh bread and toast, sweet butter, eggs to order, rather than the packaged food service microwave prepared hash browns, sausage slice and packaged mini quiche tarts. The caned tangerine accented with mint was refreshing. good coffee.

This is a perfectly located hidden gem in a quaint beach town. The service and accommodations were exceptional. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful property, lots of trees, lovely landscaping. They keep Crassula in pots on all of the porches as long as weather permits. The room I stayed in (double queen) was very spacious. Wood beamed ceiling with a ceiling fan, walk in shower. Loved the restaurant that was open for breakfast daily. Open for dinner Tuesday - Saturday while I was there. Boby who was the 1st to greet us and last to see us go did all he could the entire stay to make our experience magical! The room offering free travel arraignments in a beautiful Lexus with message seats, to setting up a message, to a complementary breakfast and more. It's great that dogs are allowed. Loved our stay and we would definitely return if we're in the area again overnight. Very comfortable room and very nice staff!

On a country road only a 5-minute drive from the fascinating town of Essex on the mouth of the Connecticut River, this is a traditional, handsome setting with excellent service and food. We stayed in one of the newer outer buildings, and our room was spacious and nicely updated. Service was outstanding. Outer buildings an ADA challenge but not the older central inn. We had a great stay.
