"I could put up photos of the amazing view of Glenorchy and the surrounds but chances are that you've already seen them and are now looking for a place to stay. The Lake House is comfortable and situated very close to the lake. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because it's close to walk and get a better view down the lake or up towards the mountains where sections of LoTR was filmed. "We had a fantastic stay at Mercure Resort Queenstown! The staff were absolutely amazing—warm, helpful, and always ready to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The real standout, though, was the view. Waking up to sweeping vistas of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains was nothing short of breathtaking. Holiday Inn Express And Suites Queenstown by IHG

"Very nice modern hotel with huge foyer. Lots of different types of seating and warm with the electric fireplace. Breakfast is basic but enough to start the day with as so much interesting places to eat in town. "
