"It was our first time staying there and it was as shown and described on the listing. Very clean, great wifi, quiet, surrounded by nature with an ocean view and breeze. All the amenities you could need are available. The staff on site were superb. They have a recycling centre which is unheard of at most places. There is a food truck that looked great but we didn’t partake. They even have two (big dog/small dog) off leash fenced areas to let the doggos roam. The owner (Marc) was always informative and available through the VRBO site. Hate to review this gem that we would like to keep a secret. All in all we will return. Thanks"

"We loved our stay at Blackfish Cottage. Everything was easy, the people were friendly and helpful, and the place was beautiful. The view from the house is gorgeous and the extras like binoculars and fire pit were much appreciated. There was even an orca in the distance to greet us as we arrived! It was a little tight for 2 adults and 3 teens but definitely worth it. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we will be back! "

"A peaceful escape full of charm, comfort, and hospitality
Our stay at Cottage at the Cove was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by Bob and Joanne, who are not only kind and thoughtful hosts but also incredibly knowledgeable about the area. They gave us great tips on local places to explore, eat, and enjoy — we really appreciated how much care they put into making sure guests feel at home and get the most out of their visit.
The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful — spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and so thoughtfully set up. Every detail felt intentional, and the interior had such a peaceful, relaxing vibe. The bedding was incredibly luxurious and comfortable — it honestly felt like sleeping in a boutique hotel, which made it even easier to unwind and recharge after days spent adventuring.
This is the kind of place you walk into and instantly feel at ease. Quiet, cozy, and tucked away in a perfect location close to Telegraph Cove. We loved coming back here at the end of each day — it really was a little slice of paradise.
