We enjoyed our stay here tremendously. We enjoyed the location and the deer that came through. The cabin was cozy and welcoming we would definitely love to come back and stay again. The hammock in the trees was a favorite spot!

Nice Cabin
Cabin was clean comfortable and cozy. secluded it was not. Love the area and the ambiance but if secluded is what you desire then look past this one. Everything else was wonderful and we give it 4 stars overall
I've stayed at this same cabin several times. I keep going back. Everything is as expected. All the right amenities. Thank you again!

No communication
Overall the stay was relaxing but the biggest issue I had was no communication. We had issues with cable, called for assistance the night we got there and first thing Saturday morning and no one called us back. we thought we could relax and watch a movie or two - didn't happen.. The coffee filters weren’t the right ones so the coffee was full of grounds. There was no foil, plastic wrap nothing to give a little assistance in the kitchen. Plug in the bathroom didn’t have a cap so you couldn’t plug the sink. For people that don’t have a fire place-instructions on what position the levers are to be in to insure the flew is open would have been nice. if your only going to supply dishes then tell people - we only supply dishes so bring everything you need for the kitchen. There were no dishrags to wipe down anything, including the counter tops. There were used sponges under the sink that were disgusting that i would not use them to wipe down a counter i was preparing food on
Nestled among the ponderosa pines on a gentle slope above the West Fork of the Little Colorado River, and a few hundred feet from other cabins, this cabin was a delight the moment we walked in the front door.
It was a little tricky finding the right cabin, but the photo on the check-in sheet allowed us to identify it after one false start.
The cabin exceeded our expectations. Everything worked (except the carousel in the microwave), appliances were modern, heater was efficient, hot water was almost instantaneous, Wi-Fi was strong, DirecTV was just like home, and the fireplace (with abundant firewood in the adjacent shed) was a cheerful touch to warm the brisk evenings. The gas barbecue on the porch was just what we needed to grill the steaks for the dinner to celebrate the April birthdays of three of the four people in the cabin.
The cabin is far enough from the river so that its sound doesn't drown out the sounds of nature at the cabin--the spring migration of birds hadn't peaked yet here at 8,400 feet elevation, but we enjoyed hearing the songs and calls of Dark-eyed Juncos, American Robins, Steller's Jays, and a Southwestern Red (or Fremont's) Squirrel.
Our only concern: we were very disappointed to see several rodenticide bait stations around the outside of the cabin. Rodenticides have a harmful ripple effect in the environment: poisoned target animals are eaten by and kill predators higher in the food chain (owls, coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions, etc.).
loved that we could check in anytime after 3. that made it easy for us coming up without racing to get there. cabin was clean and quiet. cafe and german restaurant nearby walking distance. enjoyed our stay.
Great cabin, love Greer but it wasn’t secluded like the title says or the pictures show. You can see 10 other cabins just by walking around the perimeter of the cabin. Overall the family had a great time and the cabin provided everything that we needed
Everything was excellent—just as advertised. This cabin is amazingly comfortable and the location is beautiful. Sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

So this could easily be a 5 star cabin with some easy fixes. First the lady who gave me the keys was extremely sweet and professional however i dont think the cabin in its current state is worth the money the cabin was nice however the second you walk in the door theres a huge stain on the carpet cobwebs on the chandelier and i pile of dead bugs in the skylight there was also no fire wood even though theres a picture of a huge stack by the front porch there were also no spices or condiments there is 1 burner on the stove that does not work and the BBQ utensils where completely melted and left by the grill the cabin is also not secluded or hidden there are other cabins around and i would recommend that if you spend time on the front porch to bring your own chairs you will see deer just kinda hanging out by the cabin throughout the day so once again these are minor things that add up and with these being easily fixed it could be a 5 star instead of a 3 star also they have wifi but it is terrible i dont hold that against them because you are pretty much in the middle of no where and it was great to just set the electronics down and enjoy the nature speaking of if you like to hike the government trail was a little rough but definitely worth the hike
Beautiful rustic cabin in small mountain town. Wildlife all around. Small town fun.

House was clean and well maintained but it is very falsely advertised as secluded. All the pictures provided in the post are taken at the perfect angles to hide the houses around it. Also the picture of the stacks of firewood is very misleading cause we were provided with 5 logs and anything after that we had to pay for. If you’re specifically looking for a secluded getaway like we were, this is not it!
I took my wife to this cabin for a weekend getaway to escape our hectic lives. We had a great time. The cabin was perfect for what we were looking for. We would definitely book this cabin again.
We have stayed in this cabin twice now. This time I had to clean the front porch, it was covered in dust. The Grill was also covered in dust. The fireplace was all dusty! All in all we had a great time!
We loved our stay in this cabin. They were very quick to answer when we mistakenly locked ourselves out. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils but lacked spices outside of salt and pepper. We loved using the fireplace while it snowed.
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and nice. They had an old espresso maker that we took full advantage of and now have one on the way to our own house! Nice place in a quiet area. Secluded is probably relative but there is a little elbow room compared to other properties in the area.

Great Cabin!
This place was excellent. Would highly recommend staying here. It was very clean and comfortable. We were also able to go hiking without having to drive anywhere. We hiked the East Fork Trail and Government Trail right from the front door! Little Colorado River is a stone throw away along with walking into town to the café and gift shop. Overall awesome trip.
