The View at Surfer's Beach (Lower Unit Only)

Clean and brand new custom built cottage overlooking the world famous Surfer's Beach! Wake up in the morning, walk out onto the large deck and check the surf while you have a coffee, or just look out the window and check it from there :)

If you're planning to surf, THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY! It will save you time and lots of energy in hiking your board to the beach. Also, you'll know if the waves are good from the tremendous view on the deck.

The cottage is up on pilings and out of the bush. This is an incredible advantage over any ground level place on Eleuthera when it comes to biting bugs. Also, it is on the Oceanside and this makes a huge difference when you sit outside on the deck for hours and take in The View!
The retro style hurricane shutters allow for maximum airflow, that combined with a high house elevation, help you to enjoy the refreshing trade winds of The Bahamas. There are also ceiling fans in each room if you feel the need. For your comfort, he AC will be removed from Oct-April.
This is the downstairs unit of a 2 unit cottage. This Unit is a studio flat. Not to worry, both units are completely independent of each other with separate entrances and are self sufficient. If you have more than 2 people in your group, you can book the upstairs unit for up to 4 more people and share the entire cottage if it is available.

There is plenty of parking for large groups and get togethers.

Next door you will find an adventure tour company where you can book tours of the island, get surfing lessons and rent beach equipment such as surfboards, kayaks, body boards etc.

The view is beautiful, having a porch on two levels is a really nice touch to the overall property. It would’ve been nice to have some patio furniture but otherwise it was comfortable. Things you should know: The property is set up as a two level rental however if you have guests staying above you, you hear every footstep, every voice, every sneeze. If you’re looking for a true privacy this place is wonderful if it is only occupied by you and your guest outside of that you lose all privacy. This place has the beautiful potential to be a really nice hideaway for romance, seclusion, privacy just make sure it’s all yours for your stay. Franco and his wife are attentive and beautiful people to deal with during your time away.

We absolutely loved our stay in Eleuthera. The cottage was clean and rustic. It is described exactly as it is and prepare yourself for a peaceful stay. We were lucky enough to have the first 2 night alone; however, the last 3 nights there were neighbors upstairs. I believe the owner is in the process of insulating but in the meantime, be prepared to hear your neighbors. That was truly our only complaint.Franco and Colette were more than helpful and we felt as though they became our friends by the end of our stay. Every single person we met was so kind and generous. Be sure to rent a jeep or something off road as that made it possible for us to go where many tourists could not go. Also, you will need a good pair of shoes like Keens to get to and from the beach. All in all, it was the best vacation we've ever had. We truly saw authentic Bahamas.

Great view, gracious hosts, beautiful island

The home was perfect. Franco and his wife Colette were so nice and helpful. We rented their Jeep for our stay, I’m glad we had it for the trip to lighthouse point. It made it through the rough terrain just fine. Surfers beach is beautiful and just a walk down the road. We will definitely be back and we will stay here again. Thank you! Jennifer and Michael

A real beach hut experience

Such a beautiful spot. The walk down to the water is beautiful and the house is very cozy. There were issues with the water system, the internet, and a double booking, but we enjoyed our time there every day. Franco, the property manager, is wonderful and nice to work with.

The unit is exactly how it’s pictured...

Surfers view was perfect for what we needed...we rented both the upper and lower units for 1 night stay..very quiet and rustic more of a cabin feeling...there is a path to the Ocean on the Atlantic side. The property managers Franco and Collette were incredible...they went way above and beyond due to unforeseen circumstances...anything we needed they were there for us during the remainder of our time on the island...even though we were not staying at the Surfers View. Love you two and thank you so much for the added support during our very difficult time on the island. Thank you. Highly recommend Surfers View.

It was GREAT! Comfortable, clean, fantastic view!

This cottage was easy to get to. The view was incredible. We had NO problem with noise from the upstairs vacationers. Best of all, it was clean with a very comfy bed! Franco was the BEST! Both Franco and Collette were AWESOME! Very helpful and informative (we had lots of questions) and even a flat tire. Franco knew exactly where we were, put us at ease and came to save the day!! I would DEFINITELY stay there again! Thanks for the hospitality!

Little Gem...

I enjoyed very much staying at Eric's funky place here in Eluthera! New home, so can't go wrong for clean and functional. Very nice property managers Franco and his wife Colette. Franco was more than helpful and courteous , and they also have a great restaurant/bar in nearby Gregory town called Sunset Lounge, great music on Fridays!! I would definitely stay at Eric's again, great location, nice deck with a nice breeze, keeps the bugs away. Great kitchen so you can cook your own meals, full size propane stove/oven and fridge, all the amenities you will need. He also graciously allowed my golden retriever to vacation with me...can't ask for better than that!!! Thanks again Eric for a wonderful stay...will be back soon!! Love, Marlene & Chlloe
