The waitstaff throughout the restaurant was also remarkably friendly and attentive, further enhancing the overall experience. After spending five days exploring Switzerland, our time at Hotel Onya was unequivocally our favorite part. I am already planning my return, eager to experience the hotel and its surroundings in the winter, to enjoy the snow side rather than just the hiking. "I found this property average from a location, general amenities and hotel staff perspective. The reception staff were not helpful nor courteous. I inquired about the “spa” and use of it was dismissed as too complicated. I booked this property specifically because of the pool and other spa amenities. In my seven nights, I wasn’t able to use it once. Makes me wonder if it’s even operational. On the other hand, the restaurant staff were very pleasant and I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The location is not in Brig and a 25 minute walk into town. The walk is along a pathway, which can be quite pleasant. Thank you "
