The Ashley Hotel
Clean and comfortable good room and plenty of hot water. Indoor Pool very cold. Spa tub too murky to use. Delicious dinner but service very slow and over an hour from ordering to the meal arriving - the restaurant wasn’t full but I suspect only one cook on duty. TV did not work even when the batteries ...

Copthorne Hotel Greymouth
This was a good hotel that met our needs. Bed was comfy, room and bath were clean. It’s in an older building but you can see the updating that has been done, and done well.
