"A little pricey but given the location, it's a good choice for a short stay in Metro L.A. The area is safe and offers a variety of interesting restaurants within walking distance. The pet fee is high, though there is plenty of grass on the property and along the street on the south side for a quick walk of your dog. It seemed to be very quiet at night. Staff was friendly and accommodating. A microwave and a fridge is always a nice touch in a motel and our room had both. Our purpose was limited to having a place to sleep after a birthday party, but I kept thinking that this would be a perfect place for tourists from other countries to stay when on a car-driven vacation that includes a lot of shopping. You are within a few minutes walk from two major malls with a staggering array of stores. You are centrally located and have quick access to major freeways. Glendale is a pleasant place to stay, busy but friendly, and more hip or exotic destinations like Silverlake or Hollywood are just a short drive away. The Vagabond is nothing fancy, but you didn't fly all this way just to hang out in a motel room. Nick in Palm Springs"

"House keeping stole my friend's 1000$ glasses out of the case, took cash out of our bathroom, possibly took pictures of my credit cards that were in my wallet that was put away. I started to recieve spam codes to hack my social media and accounts right after the incident...too coincidental! We filed a police report and hotel management was not very compassionate; they did not make it seem like they understood the gravity of the situation. THEIR STAFF WENT THROUGH OUR BELONGINGS AND STOLE FROM US!!! And to top it all off they never took trash out....probably too focused on what they could take. We will NEVER stay in a Hilton hotel EVER again because of this experiance."

"Was made to deposit TWO HUNDRED dollars for having a small dog with me, I stayed for ONE night almost two months ago and the hotel will not release the deposit back to me. Absolute theft and not appropriate especially when the room was kept clean and I cleaned after myself for the one night I stayed. If you have a pet it is cheaper to stay at Hilton, I would never recommend this place to anybody they possibly steal other people’s deposits as well. "
