Everything about this hotel was great except one thing. The walls are not really soundproofed enough so you can quite easily hear noise from the hallway and from your neighbors. It's not a big problem but if you are sensitive to some noise from outside your room you should take it into consideration. The food at the restaurant was great and the hotel is impeccably maintained. The room was quite large too.

Beautiful property and excellent dining experience

This is a beautiful hotel in the center of Grignan, France. The staff was lovely, the room was well appointed; spacious and had a large balcony with a view of the castle.

The hosts were welcoming, and helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, they served a lovely breakfast featuring their amazing homemade apple nut cake. The pool was pristine, a wonderful place to stay.

Loved our stay at Chateau Montplaisir! Our hosts were incredible friendly and the chateau is gorgeous, feeling like you’re walking into a piece of history. They recommended a beautiful walk for us to go on our first day. Our stay included delicious breakfasts served on their patio overlooking the pool and views of Valreas including fresh fruit, fresh-squeezed OJ, homemade jams and yogurt, croissants and baguette. Delicious tea and coffee as well! Additionally we had a wine tasting with Benoit...

Super séjour très agréable

Boutique hôtel in the center of the charming village of Marsanne. Extremely well renovated and decorated with subdued luxury. Great breakfast. If weather permits, I recommend sitting outside by the fountain. Friendly and helpful staff

What a lovely place to stay! Everything was perfect, from the breakfast to the views, to the fabulous pool. Our room was comfortable- loved the rain showerhead. And our private terrace was perfect. Will definitely stay here again.

This was my second stay here. Very quietly located in the town close to good restaurants, bars and sights. Walking distance to train station. Room very comfortable and cosy. Breakfast buffet very good with a good choice of food and hot coffee. I enjoyed my week here very much.
