Food was excellent with more than enough. One down side was I was woken early morning by dogs barking as it’s a dog friendly but at least I was up for breakfast so was nothing to complain would recommend you to stay "

"Weather was not to kind to us but this hotel and the staff gave everything so we could enjoy our break away. Evening meal was lovely along with the breakfast which was amazing. We only had a double bed which although comfy didn’t give us much room not sure now if we could’ve got a king size but would deffo book one next time if we return"

The staff were friendly and very helpful, the room was everything it should be, the atmosphere was pleasant and quiet, and the evening meal I had was very good - I particularly appreciated that everything arrived in a very timely way despite two quite large parties being catered for at the time (all credit to the staff that evening). "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Calf’s Head, Clitheroe. We attended a wedding at a venue not far from here, so it was a great location for us. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the downstairs bar/dining was an asset to our stay. We both enjoyed a lovely full English the morning after with the option of fruit, cereals and yoghurts. The outdoor space here is gorgeous so would definitely recommend going here to enjoy it on a nice day. The only criticism I can give is that the...
