"If you're looking for peace and tranquility then look no further.We received a warm friendly greeting from Barbara and the Chickens, and Barbara told us everything we needed to know. The cottage was spotless with everything you could need, comfy bed, comfy sofa, amazing shower and a total sense of calm .We woke in the morning to the sounds of wildlife, watched the wild rabbits running free, walked round the lakes and just relaxed. We went for a special occasion and there was a bottle of wine left for us to help us celebrate, such a lovely gesture. Hubby loved the fishing, he had the whole lake to himself with the exception of the animals wondering round and coming to visit him. We had eggs from the Chickens and they are the tastiest ones we've ever had, we purchased more the bring home. This place is a hidden gem, there's no road noise at all, it really did feel like you where miles from anywhere. We will be back as we really enjoyed our time here."
