"While it may be quite an odd location, the village hotel is a really good choice (if you don’t mind taking transport to get into Hull). The pool, sauna and steam are great and the gym is well-equipped. The room was a good size with a comfy bed and the breakfast was good. All in all, a decent hotel."

"The staff are amazing, the owner spotted us looking confused as where to go, and accompanied us to reception, and the receptionist was so welcoming. The room was ultra clean and tidy, warm . Breakfast was fantastic, and so was the evening meal. Could not find any faults, 10 out of 10,!!!"

"Stayed at the weekend Friday to Monday and brought the pooch with me.Great hosts - Barbara came to let me in though i was slightly earlier than expected. Really clean accommodation and lovely location only 15 mins from Cleethorpes.Really lovely and quiet even the wildlife are quiet on a night time.Fished the larger lake which was great - loads of pegs to fish fromif you want to take the dog to the beach go to humberston fitties and park in the yacht club as its free parking. Then try Cleethorpes country park for a good walk around and the pooch can have a swim.Really cant fault the place - remote and quiet"
