The hotel is quite dated and requires an update. However, it has many good facets. It is highly central and nicely set near the Minster square. Staff are very nice and helpful. There is no surrounding noise but room walls don't cut out room to room noise well as they could. Room was clean, bed comfortable and nice towels and toiletries. The room was a little too hot for my liking but in winter perhaps a boon. There is a reasonably priced food offering Inc breakfast, but I didn't avail. Parking is available on site and is barrier secure but now costs £3. This is refundable upon the purchase of food and or drinks and coffees Overall good value for money at £48 for a double room, but don't expect a modern and plush four star hotel!
