"A quirky b&b. Lovely inside and lots of thought has gone into the place by the owner. Very comfortable and relaxing place. Access 24/7 via coded door. Lovely settee area on ground floor with kitchen area. We had rooms 1. 4 and 6 for our group of 5 adults. Host superb. Nothing any hassle. Would go back. "

"The Caley Hotel has a lot of history in the buildings, but the rooms are fresh and modern, with all the necessary details. We were in a room in a small courtyard away from the bar and restaurant and it was very quiet. The staff were all lovely and helpful. It would be nice to see even more of the local seafood on the menu, but the sea bass and rock bass were both very good. They seemed a tiny bit short-staffed, but everyone was clearly doing everything they could to keep things ticking over. My only tiny gripe is that I don't like the half shower doors that allow water to spray all over the bathroom no matter how hard to try not to let it, but that is a VERY minor point. I would definitely stay again if we visit North Norfolk in the future."

"Wonderful to be able to stay in very comfortable, well maintained and spacious 17th Century accommodation. The Crown Hotel is the hub of the village. My room at the back overlooked the garden and rooftops so noise was minimal. Food was cooked to order, the included breakfast was marvellous with an excellent choice of hot and cold options including plant based ‘milks’. There was a good evening menu with very substantial servings. The only downside was the lack of vegetarian options. All the staff were very polite, friendly and happy in their work."

"400 year old building the room was very nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. The floors and stairs are a bit noisy (creaky) but it’s obviously going to be given the age of the building it’s quite stunning also has a nice courtyard and a safe carpark round the back. Overall fantastic weekend stay wouldn’t mind doing it again "
