Grindelwaldhof was an excellent hotel for our stay. The location was the best and the rooms were comfortable with wonderful views of the mountains. Yet, the most exceptional part of our stay was the outstanding staff — at the front desk, housekeeping, and in the breakfast room. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is in a prime location. Bus stop right outside and train station only minutes away. Staff was very nice and helpful. Complimentary breakfast great. Would recommend and stay here again.

The room was clean and the staff was very kind and helpful with any questions we had. Our room had a view of the mountains which made waking up early great! We got there past the time of the staff hours but we were given clear instructions on how to get our key. The other great thing is that it is close to everything we need to get to.

Staff was very accommodating, allowing us to check in early upon request, and did an excellent job orienting us on the hotel and the surrounding area. Great location and an excellent view from the balcony of our room. Included breakfast had a large number of tasty options. Easily recommended.

Room was very spacious with everything we needed. Modern USB plugs included. Views were breathtaking from the cozy patio. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was very helpful and allowed us to leave our car in the parking area after check out as we explored the area more.

Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Room was spacious and clean with soft beds and pillows. No AC in entire hotel was NOT an issue. as the evenings were cool and the windows have heavy shades to keep hotter days mild. The room also had a desk FAN so with a cracked night window and a fan blowing it was 10/10 best stay on our trip.

The rooms are nice and turned daily. The staff were helpful and attentive. They offer daily breakfast which was good. Located right next to the bus stops if no rental car, without many uphill walks from the train station or from the First gondola. There’s parking available if you have a rental vehicle. When we come back to Switzerland a 5th time, this is where we will stay again.

Great stay in grindelwald

Hotel was really nice, comfortable. Location was perfect. View was amazing. The street can be loud but with the windows closed you couldn’t hear anything. Included breakfast was very good. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Wonderful stay

Very good experience during our stay at the Grinderwalderhof. I had access to my room even arriving earlier than informed. The parking at the hotel was very convenient. The staff was friendly and gave precise information about the local transportation and places to visit. Very good breakfast. View wonderful from balcony.
