Wonderful Hotel

Amazing hotel in a great place. Friendly staff, magnificent room of ample size for two people with magical view of Grindelwald valley and the mountains. Convenient location outside of town but easily accessible by foot, bus or car. Would most definitely stay here again.

Hotel Kirchbuehl is a fantastic hotel to stay while visiting the Grindelwald and the tourist sites within Jungfraujoch region. The hotel provided a scrumptious breakfast and two excellent restaurants for dining. Will return in winter to fully utilise the ski in and out features of the the Hotel Kirchbuehl’s location.

Excellent stay, we all loved it. Very good quality food, recommend reserving the Swiss restaurant. My only advice would be there needs to be fans as it can—and did—get very uncomfortably hot at night in summer. At the least, install screens so guests can keep doors/windows open without letting bugs in. But regardless, an excellent stay and will be back for sure.

Great hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The views are amazing and breakfast is very nice. I would highly recommend the place. They also offer a free shuttle to the station and back. However one needs to reserve that in advance. Highly recommended.

This is is a beautiful hotel right at the foot of a mountain with amazing views. The room was very clean . The only negative was they even though I paid for a 4 occupancy room they charge me $261 for “an extra guest”

I was initially concerned about the distance from the station to the hotel, but during my 2-night stay, it wasn’t an issue at all. In fact, I really enjoyed the walk while taking in the surrounding scenery — it only took about 7 minutes at a normal walking pace for an adult male. All the staff were very polite and kind. The facilities are a bit old, but it didn’t bother me — the view around the hotel more than made up for it. And don’t miss the sauna — it was one of the highlights of my stay!

The only complaint I have is that the outlets didn’t work that great with my grounded universal converter. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The room is extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were all friendly and accommodating.

We loved this hotel! The room was nice with a lovely view of the alps. It was pretty spacious with a fridge and we got a kettle on request. It had a good breakfast spread. Staff is very helpful and polite. Free Parking outside the hotel was a huge convenience. They had complementary cake offerings daily in the afternoon and we enjoyed some lovely confectioneries. Beautiful view from the restaurants. It was our best experience amongst all the European countries we visited and stayed.

Very quiet location about 5 to 7 minutes north of the busy tourist strip. It is convenient and close enough to walk to the busy shopping and restaurants in about 5 to 7 minutes yet far enough to be quiet and allow the enjoyment of the great mountain views. The staff is very friendly and the service was excellent. The breakfast was good with lots of options. parking is convenient on the property. The hotel has a dining terrace with spectacular Mountain View’s. The balcony views are great from multiple sides of the hotel. Excellent value for the location, views, and great service.
