This is an amazing hotel perfectly situated directly across from Grindelwald First. When I say directly across, I mean you can be at Grindelwald First in less than 5 mins. Now, I’m going to be honest. The rooms are not updated or fancy…more like a holiday inn….but the staff more than makes up for the simple/old rooms. Every single person was so nice, kind, and helpful. Georgia was especially helpful to us! We appreciated her advice! The outdoor deck was beautiful, and the restaurant was fantastic! Also, the location could not be better with amazing views.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the hotel. Traveling single, I had a lot of questions, and the staff at the desk fielded them all and were very helpful. Restaurant was reasonably priced and good. System was well-organized; staff was friendly; and there is a playground next door. I did not have a chance to try the breakfast since needing to leave early. The beds were rather firm. And the bathroom door gives a truly cultural experience to family-style (clear on bottom and does not completely separate the rooms but is sufficient). Otherwise, it is perfect and would be 5 stars.
